Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern the use of Invitee.live, a tattoo client management service that helps professionals manage client sessions, forms, files, communication, reminders, calendar workflows, and payments.

1. Overview

Invitee.live ("Invitee", "we", "us", or "our") is a software service operated from Portugal. These Terms apply to professionals who create or manage Invitee accounts and to clients who access client pages made available through Invitee.

By creating an account, purchasing a paid plan, or using Invitee, you agree to these Terms. If you use Invitee for a business or professional practice, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

2. Using Invitee

Invitee is intended primarily for independent professionals and small businesses managing client sessions and related workflows. Professionals are responsible for their account and for the information, instructions, forms, files, payment requests, and other content they make available through the service.

Clients may access the features enabled for a client page, including viewing session information, completing forms, sending comments, uploading permitted files, and making payments where available.

Users must take reasonable steps to protect account credentials, client links, and access codes and should notify us if they believe access has been compromised.

3. Professional Responsibilities

Professionals are responsible for using Invitee lawfully and for the client relationships they manage through the service.

  • You must provide accurate account, business, and billing information.
  • You may only upload, request, or process content and personal data that you are legally entitled to use.
  • You are responsible for providing clients with any notices, disclosures, or consents required by applicable law.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of session details, forms, instructions, files, FAQs, payment amounts, and communications you provide.
  • You must not use Invitee's transactional communication features to send spam or unrelated marketing.
  • If you choose to collect health-related or other sensitive information, you are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis and applying any additional safeguards required by law.

4. Client Content and Files

Invitee may allow professionals and clients to upload files, submit forms, and exchange comments. Anyone submitting content must have the necessary rights and permissions to do so.

Professionals remain responsible for deciding what information they request from clients and how that information is subsequently used. We may restrict or remove content where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operation of the service.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use Invitee in a way that is unlawful, abusive, harmful, or disruptive to the service or other users.

  • Do not upload or transmit illegal, fraudulent, infringing, threatening, abusive, or malicious content.
  • Do not distribute malware, conduct phishing, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the security or operation of Invitee.
  • Do not violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security controls, usage limits, payment rules, or technical safeguards.
  • Do not resell, copy, or reverse engineer Invitee except where applicable law expressly permits it.

6. Plans, Subscriptions, and Billing

Invitee may offer both free and paid plans. Plans may have different usage limits, features, branding options, and payment fees as described on our pricing page or within the product.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis. You may cancel a paid subscription through the available billing settings or Stripe customer portal. Unless stated otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Subscription prices and plan conditions may change in the future. Changes will apply prospectively and, where required, we will provide appropriate notice.

Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable and unused time is not prorated.

7. Client Payments and Stripe

Professionals may connect a Stripe account to accept deposits and other client payments through Invitee. Payments are processed by Stripe using the professional's connected Stripe account.

Invitee may charge a platform fee on successful client payments depending on the professional's current Invitee plan. Any applicable Invitee platform fee is separate from Stripe's own processing fees. Current fees are disclosed through our pricing and payment interfaces.

Professionals are responsible for the amounts they request from clients and for their underlying services, taxes, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and other obligations relating to those transactions. Stripe may also require identity, business, or other verification before enabling payments.

Invitee may display payment, fee, and refund information received from Stripe, but the underlying payment transaction is processed and maintained through Stripe. Payment functionality may be unavailable if Stripe restricts or disables the connected account or transaction.

8. Third-Party Services and Integrations

Invitee relies on third-party services such as Stripe and may offer integrations with services such as Google Calendar. Those services may be subject to their own terms, availability, and account requirements.

When you enable an integration, you authorize Invitee to exchange the information reasonably necessary to provide that feature. We are not responsible for outages, restrictions, or changes made independently by third-party providers.

9. Usage Limits and Service Protection

Plans may include limits on resources such as active sessions, templates, files, or storage. We may also apply reasonable technical limits, rate limits, file restrictions, or other safeguards where necessary to protect security, prevent abuse, control excessive automated usage, or keep the service reliable.

We may restrict abusive or unusually excessive use even where a specific numerical limit is not displayed, provided that we act reasonably and consistently with applicable law.

10. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you upload or submit to Invitee. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service.

Invitee and its software, design, branding, and underlying technology remain owned by us or our licensors. Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve Invitee without compensation or obligation to you.

11. Availability, Suspension, and Termination

We aim to keep Invitee available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, security incidents, or other circumstances may temporarily affect availability.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of non-payment, security risks, unlawful or abusive use, violations of these Terms, provider requirements, or legal obligations.

You may stop using Invitee at any time. Following account closure, we may delete or anonymize data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, retention practices, and any legal obligations that require certain records to be kept.

12. Disclaimers and Liability

Invitee provides software for client management and workflow support. We do not provide legal, medical, tax, accounting, or other professional advice, and professionals remain responsible for their own services and professional decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Invitee is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or data resulting from use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount paid to Invitee by the relevant user during the 12 months before the claim or EUR 100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Invitee changes or where required for legal, security, or operational reasons. The current version and its "Last updated" date will be published on this page.

Where a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.

14. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory rights that may apply under applicable law.
