1. Overview
Invitee.live ("Invitee", "we", "us", or "our") is a SaaS product operated from Portugal. These Terms and Conditions apply to professionals who create or manage accounts on Invitee and to clients who access invite pages through links and access codes.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or accessing an invite page, you agree to these Terms. If you use Invitee on behalf of a business or professional practice, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business or practice to these Terms.
2. Who Can Use Invitee
Invitee is designed for self-employed professionals and small businesses that want to manage appointment communication in a more structured way. Clients may use Invitee only to review, comment on, and submit information for the invite that was shared with them.
Professionals are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Clients are responsible for keeping any invite links and access codes reasonably secure and for using them only for the intended appointment or session.
3. Professional Responsibilities
Professionals using Invitee are responsible for how they use the platform and for the content they upload or share through it.
- You must provide accurate account and billing information.
- You must only upload or process content and personal data that you are legally allowed to use.
- You must provide any notices, disclosures, or consents required for your clients under applicable law.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of session details, instructions, forms, files, FAQs, and messages sent through Invitee.
- You may only send transactional appointment-related communications through the service, not spam or unrelated marketing.
- If you collect health-related or other sensitive information, you are responsible for ensuring you have a valid legal basis and any safeguards required by law.
4. Client Access via Invite Links and Codes
Invitee allows professionals to share appointment information with clients through invite links and access codes. A client does not need a full Invitee account to access an invite, but access is limited to the invite and features made available by the professional.
Professionals are responsible for sending invite access to the correct person and for updating, replacing, or revoking access if they believe a link or code has been shared incorrectly or compromised.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use Invitee to do, store, or transmit anything unlawful, abusive, or harmful.
- Illegal, fraudulent, infringing, threatening, harassing, hateful, or abusive content.
- Malware, phishing, unauthorized access attempts, scraping, or interference with the service.
- Content that violates privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or other third-party rights.
- Use of the service in a way that could harm clients, other users, Invitee, or our providers.
- Attempts to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or bypass limits or security measures, except where mandatory law does not allow that restriction.
6. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation
Invitee is offered on a subscription basis. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe. Prices may change from time to time, but we will apply updated pricing prospectively.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your billing settings or customer portal. Cancellation will normally take effect at the end of your current billing period. Invitee does not require long-term contracts.
Unless required by law, fees already paid are not refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time. If payment fails or your account becomes overdue, we may limit or suspend paid features until payment is resolved.
7. Availability and Service Changes
Invitee is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We aim to keep the service available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any specific uptime level.
We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also perform maintenance, security updates, or emergency changes that temporarily affect access.
8. Content and Intellectual Property
You keep ownership of the content, files, forms, comments, and other material you upload to Invitee. You grant us a non-exclusive, limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for you.
We retain all rights in Invitee itself, including the software, design, branding, and underlying technology. Feedback you choose to share with us may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
9. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Invitee at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, created risk for the service or others, failed to pay fees, or where suspension is required by law or a provider relationship.
After termination, we may delete or anonymize account data and hosted content in line with our normal retention practices and legal obligations.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Invitee is a communication and workflow tool. It does not provide legal, medical, tax, or professional advice, and it does not replace the professional judgment or obligations of the professional using it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invitee will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Invitee after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory rights that may apply under other laws.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact contact@invitee.live.
